In a country like India, mobile devices will be the primary medium for these services, I guess. LBS will need mass market acceptability to keep them afloat for a long time.

Last mile connectivity still remains a challenge in countries like India. Having said that, LBS definitely seems to pack enough punch to deliver on its promises in the mobile VAS advertising space.
