Blogworks Presents “India Bloggers Directory”- Edition I (Support The Cause)
Good Friend, Rajesh Lalwani is trying to compile a list of Indian bloggers. You heard it right and the interesting part is its a compilation in a book format named as “India Bloggers Directory” – Edition 1.
Blogworks is publishing India’s Bloggers Directory, Edition 1. A pocket guide to an ever growing list of Indian blogs, the book aims to help users and marketers navigate the live web by informing them about sites of interest, categorized by subject. The book will also have a select listing of Twitter users from India.
While a lot of this information is already available in public domain, this form will help us reach out to many more people.
Rajesh wrote about it sometime last week and it might have missed my radar but today in the morning when I came to know, I was more than happy to fill up the short form. Trust me it just takes couple of minutes but I bet this kind of endeavour will do much good to the Indian blogging fraternity – small or big.
So without spending much time ruminating, I would recommend you guys to fill up the form. Infact, such a list already exists, prepared by Amit Agarwal from Labnol fame but this one goes one step further to publish it in a hard copy as a book.
But it seems that not many bloggers are showing interest at this point of time but I would urge all to give 5 minutes of their precious time to this one and help the cause.
Cheers!

Ok Here's my problem with this. Once, it is compiled it cost me some amount to get y hands on data which should be available freely in the first place.
Kudos to Rajesh for a great intiative which gives an overall perspective to the Indian Blogging fraternity. Also, appreciate the effort behind the cause.
But, in the spirit of social media and open source, this information could be made available as an e-book or an internet resource like Amit Agarwal does!!
Give some love back to the community is all I am saying!!!
Cheers

P.S. If you guys doing that already peace out. Happy to spread some link love around!

Infact, I won't completely disagree with you but I'm sure @rajeshlalwani has a reason for it. Will pass on the message
