Google’s “Internet Bus Project for India”
Google is again upto giving something back to the community with a new campaign called “Internet Bus Project” (for obvious reasons though). With this Google intends to visit some of the Indian towns to let people know the about Internet usage.
Google has put a link in the Indian Google homepage.
This is what the main site explains about the project:
The Internet Bus Project is an attempt educate people about what the Internet is, and how it may be beneficial to their lives, by taking the Internet experience to them through a customised Internet-enabled bus, which will travel to several towns and cities across India.
It started off yesterday from Chennai and the next stop is Vellore in 5th Feb and going to carry on for next month or so.
