The Fifth Estate
A great post from Seth Godin reminded me of something which is very elementary yet so profound in this own nature.
Just a thought:
…We all grew by getting influenced by traditional, one sided monologue media which shaped the way we think, act, consume and spread information. But with the advent of Fifth Estate which is now changing our way of consuming information and dissipating it- where are we all going if it continues like this?
Are we all leading ourselves to the beginning of the end of individualistic expression where we all are following the herd mentality (Social Proof) without evaluating the merits. This tweet of mine is one such rants about Social Media Enthusiasts and Evangelists.
What do you think?

Sampad,
I’d like the Fifth Estate to evaluate the merits of feeding the hungry. Actually, I’d like the Fifth Estate to get off the behinds and act like a massive herd immediately. The Fifth Estate is also made up of those who are currently losing jobs, homes and the ability to feed themselves.
Make a donation and take a picture of it. Turn a simple act of kindness into a “movement” of kindness. Individualist expression can come in the form of a picture. We spend so much time wanting, getting, acquiring. We need to spend more of our time “giving.” Especially when it’s so simple to do. My two cents…
